- Code Migration & Culture Adoption: Legacy, outdated SAS Enterprise Guide code needed to be migrated to the Cloud to create a unified, well-governed data and analytics platform.
- Large and complex system: Over 3000 business users across 83 areas ( 15 data producers and 69 data consumers) with more than 476,000 lines of code and 457 business data processes to migrate.
- Non-standardized Business Units: Several distinct business areas, including Cable, Collection, Campaign Management, Revenue Assurance, Credit Risk, B2B Market Insights, and B2B Field Marketing.
Our Solution
Leverage AI for Automated SAS Code Translation/migration
We developed a GenAI automated tool to extract all data sources from SAS code: repositories, tables, fields used, and their functions. The GenAI tool also offers sophisticated, detailed documentation of processes, including UML diagrams. Additionally, it translates SAS Base code into the appropriate cloud-based programming languages. Manual assessment of user skills and required data history was necessary. We also provided hands-on training.
